What are automated schedules?
Automated schedules
Automated Schedules are Digits' AI-powered approach to creating and maintaining accounting schedules. When Digits detects that a transaction should be recognized over time, such as a fixed asset or prepaid expense, it automatically drafts a schedule, generates the projected journal entries, and maintains those entries within the ledger after an accountant has reviewed and approved the details.
By automating schedule creation and maintenance, Automated Schedules reduce manual work and the need to maintain external workbooks, while keeping financial records accurate and close-ready.
Example: A business purchases equipment that should be depreciated over several years. Digits detects the fixed asset, drafts the depreciation schedule, shows the projected journal entries for review, and posts the recurring entries to the ledger automatically once approved by a human
