What is Checklist?

Checklist

The Checklist is Digits' centralized workspace for reviewing, validating, and completing accounting work. It organizes outstanding items across bookkeeping, reconciliation, reporting, quality control, and close workflows, helping teams identify what needs attention before financials are finalized.

The Checklist serves as the primary review layer in Digits, surfacing exceptions, quality-control findings, and other items that require human judgment while allowing routine work to be automated.

Example: During month-end close, a user opens the Checklist to review transactions requiring categorization, investigate reconciliation exceptions, evaluate quality-control findings, and complete remaining tasks before finalizing the books.

Related terms: Agentic Close, Quality Control, Month-End Close, Human in the Loop
