Carlos Gil is an AI Product Manager at Digits, where he works on the AI-powered products and internal platforms that make accounting workflows easier to understand and act on. He joined Digits through the acquisition of Basis, where he was co-founder and CTO, leading product and engineering for a planning and budgeting platform used by hundreds of operators, accountants, and firms.

Before Basis, Carlos led engineering at Domio, worked on financial systems at Betterment, and was part of the founding Uber Eats team at Uber. His experience spans fintech, accounting, data infrastructure, and workflow automation.

A longtime New Yorker, Carlos moved to San Diego in 2024, where he lives with his wife and son.
